Neighbourhood Plan Update 10 Feb 2017 How the policies in the Neighbourhood Plan have come about

The following points came up during the four years of consultation and planning. The Referendum on the Neighbourhood Plan will be held on Thursday 16th February. 

  • What people said about transport and business

What has been put in the Plan

  • Some vehicles are driven too fast through the village.

Policy C supports appropriate traffic management.

  • Most supported the idea of a combined cycleway and walkway to Daventry. Pupils at the school said they liked cycling.

Policy D supports a possible cycleway and walkway to Daventry.

  • There are about 100 businesses in the parish including around 50 run from people’s homes. 

Policy K says that business development will be supported provided that it respects the character and appearance of the area

  • Fast broadband access is important for businesses. 

Policy L supports improvements to electronic communication.
