Private fostering 1 Aug 2017 New Campaign to Encourage People to Register Private Fostering Arrangements

This week we have launched a new campaign to raise awareness about private fostering arrangements in Northamptonshire.

Private fostering is when a child or young person up to the age of 16 (18 if they have a disability) is living with someone other than a close relative, guardian or person with parental responsibility for more than 28 days.

We are actively encouraging people to get in touch and register if they are involved with a private fostering arrangement.
