In 2020, over the Early Spring Bank Holiday (which this year unusually is on a Friday) we are visiting our good friends in Quincy-Voisins, a village near the the town of Meaux (famous for its Brie cheeses and mustard!) to the east of Paris and close to Eurodisney, and staying with them for three nights.
Whilst there we are usually treated to a day's outing to a major tourist attraction and to an evening social with dinner, music and dancing. The rest of the time is free for the individual hosts and their guests to do whatever they wish.
We will be going by coach "door to door" departing from the village hall car park on Thursday morning 7th May and returning on the Sunday. The travel costs are subsidised by our fund-raising account and children usually go for a nominal sum or even free. The only other expected expense would be a reasonable gift for your hosts.
Every effort is made to "twin" newcomers with suitable hosts eg young families with young families, single with singles etc.
New members are always very welcome and you do not have to be a Braunstonian, you can be living in any of our nearby villages or towns.
It really is great fun and long-lasting friendships have been made.
Why not join in? You do not have to be able to speak French - honest! Everyone mucks in and really enjoys the whole experience - and it is really educational for the kids!

We look forward to hearing from you!
