Please find attached the December 2021 edition of the Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner's newsletter.
In this issue you’ll find information about the Commissioner’s latest initiative, the SNOvan – Safer Nights Out van - which launched in Northampton last weekend to help keep people safe in the night-time economy. The Commissioner also pays tribute to the lifesaving work carried out by Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service at their annual awards last month.
The newsletter features the Commissioners thoughts on the latest HMICFRS inspection of the police force, which is recognised for its progress, and you can read about a group of young community ambassadors learning more about the role of police and the work they do to keep the county safe.
The Police, Fire and Crime Plan has been out for consultation and the Commissioner has received overwhelming support for his priorities and there have been a number of grants awarded to local charities and organisations to further support the Commissioner’s priorities, particularly in connection to younger people.
Finally, we will be launching the 2022/23 budget consultation next week. Please keep an eye out for this email and do get involved and share the link with your networks.
