Police are appealing for witnesses after a 24-year-old man was assaulted in Gold Street, Northampton.
The attack happened as the victim was outside a kebab shop at about 4.10am on Saturday morning (August 26). An unknown male then struck the victim causing him to fall to the floor and hit the back of his head, partially losing consciousness.
He later needed treatment at Northampton General Hospital for head and mouth injuries.
