This Saturday saw the crew of volunteers cross the finish line where lock painting for 2018 is concerned. Lock 1 had its hand rails, ladder rails and bollards painted. The weather, perfect again, encouraged the team of five to finish the job in good time and they were on their way home by 2pm. A total of 258 volunteer hours have been spent prepping, painting and edging locks 1,2,3 and associated bollards. The team can now move on to other projects that need their attention.
