Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service have launched public consultation on their draft Community Protection Plan, which will help us shape the future priorities and structure of fire and rescue service.
The Community Protection Plan (CPP) sets out the current profile and achievements of our fire and rescue service and the direction of travel over the next three years. The Community Protection Plan reflects the findings of a recent fire service review. This review recommends a review of fire cover, response times, a more flexible staffing model and further collaboration with other blue light organisations including shared premises.
A six-week consultation is now open and will run until Wednesday 21 December 2016. Findings from this consultation will be reviewed and the final plan will be considered at Cabinet in February 2017 for a final decision.
