Are you a Braunston business owner?
You may already know something about the work going on to develop a Neighbourhood Plan in Braunston.
Once completed the Braunston Neighbourhood Plan will become part of the statutory development plan for this area, and its policies and proposals will thereby become a major consideration when the District Council assess planning applications.
A survey was sent to all Braunston residents last year on a range of topics about the village, but focusing on three big themes: housing, amenities and employment.
The next stage of developing the plan is to get greater input from some key people. This is where you, as a local business owner, come in.
We would like to hear your thoughts on how local businesses (we know there are around 75 businesses registered in Braunston) can be supported to thrive and develop within our community.
So, we're holding a Braunston Business Breakfast meeting on 20 February from 7.15am to 9am at the home of a local business on the High Street, to which you are warmly (and enthusiastically!) invited.
It will be an opportunity to:
Give your views on how your business can be supported within the village
Voice your opinions about the general needs of local businesses
Form links with other Braunston business owners, with a view to developing further events and networking opportunities
If you are able to attend, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, business name and numbers attending, and remind us to let you know the address to go to.
