For the first task party in July the rain held off allowing the crew of ten to paint Lock 1. An enthusiastic effort saw the team on its way back, returning workboat Skippy to the Marina, by 3pm.
Due to high chance of rain a change of plan saw the Saturday crew of seven remove a bush that was growing out of the coping below the Nelson lock. The arisings were transported and 'Eco' stacked at lock 5. The team divided for the main task of the day and proceeded to cut the offside grass at locks 4 & 5.
