January - Weather woes 15 Feb 2025 (Braunston Canal Society) Ice causes first task party of the year to be cancelled but vegetation control continues at the second.

With the weather in our favour a crew of 11 split into two teams. The onside team filled a wash hole in the towpath and trimmed hedges between locks 2 and 3. They went on to trim the hedges that BCS planted at locks 4 and 5 removing the protective wraps from the now established whips. The 'Skippy' team did some offside cutting between locks 2 and 3 and proceeded to remove vegetation from the lock gates on the flight.
