BCS requested an adhoc task party be held to help finish the latest towpath project. The response to the adhoc call was brilliant. Three new members swelled the team to eleven helping to share the load on what was a very warm day. The risk from the heat was deemed to be greater than a fall into the water so their life jackets were put to one side and a throw line strategically positioned. All four tons of stone and grit that had been loaded at the Marina the week before were used to complete the task. With the flat emptied BCS can now honour their promise to return the tug and flat to Stoke Bruerne on Friday.
