The last 4 adhoc BCS task parties have worked on the restoration of a 40m section of towpath between bridge 90 (A45) and the junction. Edging boards were installed and 8 one-ton bags of stone applied. The saturated ground caused by a lake forming in the neighbouring field had caused flooding on the towpath and copious amounts of mud. Some additional drainage is to be installed before the team can wacker on a layer of '6mm to dust' to finish the job.
