Last weekend saw our project skippers meet in Braunston for our annual Winterising Weekend.
It was our weekend of putting our two boats - Lancelot and Guinevere - to bed for the winter, making sure they are safe, sound and secure for the colder months ahead.
With L and G safely tucked up from the cold until March next year, a warm thank you to everyone who has either come onboard our boats this year, supported us, enquired and showed an interest, or may have simply said hello to any of our team whilst we have been moored at Bottom Lock or on the Grand Union or Oxford Canals near the village.
L and G may be having a rest, but our team are already well into planning for next year with our booking calendar [for trips by community groups and organisations of all ages] already filling up nicely. And once again we will have a series of special events lined up; including a new one in particular which will interest groups and organisations here in Braunston - more to follow soon.
For now, you can find out more about us at LNBP and what we do on our website here, or take a look at our YouTube video here.
Best wishes,
from all at LNBP Community Boating
