Under the auspices of a goodly-sized committee and with the active involvement of the Parish Council and the Church, our volunteers have had a rewarding first month shopping, collecting prescriptions and running other errands for those Braunston residents who are confined to their homes, particularly those classified by the NHS as "extremely vulnerable". As you may have seen we even have our own Freephone number to make it easy to contact us for help.
We do now realise we could do with some funds to help us work more effectively and efficiently and we have set up a "Just Giving" fund-raising account in the hope of reaching what we hope is a modest target of £5,000.
