These rewards are different to previous years in that they were designed to “celebrate how inclusive and sustainable a village is, two strands that reflect a thriving community and that add to the quality of life for all residents”.
Braunston Heart decided to apply this year as we felt we had a good chance of success as the village now had a Good Neighbour Scheme (Heart) and a Climate Action Network Group (BCAN). This was undertaken with communication with the Parish Council.
