The BCS crew of 9 took 'Skippy' to bridge 98. After almost a year since we built the steps here, as expected, the stone in the treads had settled. These were topped up with the addition of more type1 and grit. The brambles encroaching on the towpath here were cut back giving us a chance to test the latest addition to our armoury. A small chipper, kindly funded by the Braunston community cafe, easily dealt with the brambles that would have otherwise had to be bagged and transported to a disposal site.
