The Thursday crew found painting lock 6 particularly challenging due to the poor condition of the woodwork. It was agreed that this is the worst lock on the flight it having taken more time and more paint to complete. Such was the effort required most of the team stayed late to finish the task. Morale was maintained by the usual banter and several votes of thanks from the passing boaters.
