Todays crew of 14 cleared 300m of towpath back to the boards from below lock 4 to lock 6. Although it was still hard work it was agreed that last years clearance had made it easier. BCS is giving consideration to ways in which they can minimise the effort required to keep the towpath in good order. The remaining section on the flight between lock 3 and 4 requires a land drain to be rerouted under the path. A future project for the BCS team.
