An enthusiastic crew of 12 cleared the weir and trimmed the hedge at lock 1. Apart from some problems with strimmer line and overrunning by an hour all went well. Ten bags of arisings were filled ready for collection and disposal by CRT. Several ideas are being worked on to make this job easier and more efficient the next time BCS undertake this task.
